We had the opportunity to have a birthday party yesterday for Adalena's first birthday with a bunch of our church family and some of our regular family, too. We had a really great time and I'm sure the little rockstar did too! Thanks to everyone who came we appreciate you all greatly and are so blessed to have such a great group of people supporting us and our little princess.

Around most of the room were 100 pictures from different days of Adalena's first year. I tried to take one a year for the whole first year and I am pretty sure I succeeded, but I don't think I had room to put up that many pictures at the church. :)
Adalena's cake made by Erin Hill at our church. I think she did an AMAZING job! and it was absolutely delicious!
Adalena's first taste of sugar...she definitely enjoyed it, but didn't dig in as much as i thought she would mostly just stuck with the icing and then played with the cake.

Time to open presents. You could tell this wasn't her first time with this one she must have learned well after Christmas. She loved everything and of course wanted to play with whatever gift was being opened at the time even her clothes as you'll see below. She already loves clothes...such a girl!
I love this one! Its a love bug pillow that she immediately had to "kiss".
Thank you again to everyone who helped us celebrate her birthday! and thanks to my sister Brandy for taking pictures because I was a total slacker and was talking to people most of the time instead of taking pics.
